An afternoon different tour driving along the coastal road. We pass
Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza admiring of the Saronic Gulf. Arrive at
Cape Sounion and visit the temple of Poseidon. At Cape Sounion, the
Athenians built a sanctuary surrounded by a wall. The sanctuary consisted
of temples dedicated to the gods of the city. The principal temple was
dedicated to Poseidon, the god of the sea. This is a Doric temple and is
the only temple which has been preserved until today
